Soccer Recap: River Ridge Comes Up Short

River Ridge lost against Harrison back in March of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The River Ridge Knights came up short against the Harrison Hoyas, falling 4-1. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Pope Scurlock, who's now up to two this season.

This is the second loss in a row for River Ridge and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Harrison, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Coming up, River Ridge will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Blessed Trinity at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harrison, they will head out to take on West Forsyth at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
