After a string of three wins, Kiefer's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the Chandler Lions by a score of 4-3. The Trojans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 13-4.

Kiefer saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trent Cantrell, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI. Cantrell has been hot recently, having posted two or more doubles the last three times he's played.

Kiefer's defeat dropped their record down to 18-10. As for Chandler, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

Kiefer will be playing at home against Will Rogers College at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Chandler, they will challenge Tecumseh at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
