Softball Game Preview: Geneva Panthers vs. Midlakes Screaming Eagles

The Geneva Panthers will challenge the Midlakes Screaming Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Geneva has given up an average of 8 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It was a proper cat-fight when Geneva faced off against Waterloo on Monday. The Panthers came up short against the Tigers, falling 14-4. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Midlakes didn't have quite enough to beat Palmyra-Macedon on Monday and fell 10-8.

Geneva's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Midlakes, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.
