Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Boston English). They blew past the Mount Greylock Regional Mounties 16-2 on Sunday. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won nine games in a row.

Boston English pushed their record up to 19-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Mount Greylock Regional, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-14 record.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Boston English beat the Mounties by a score of 16-2 on Monday.
