Baseball Recap: Latta's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

If Latta was feeling good fresh off their 9-2 takedown of Stroud on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 4-3 on Friday. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 9-2.

Latta's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-11. As for Stroud, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-10 record this season.

Stroud wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 13-3 win against Watonga on the 9th. Hopefully Latta paid attention to the Tigers' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Tigers on Saturday.
