After starting their season with two straight games on the road, Oak Ridge is finally coming home. They will look to take advantage of their home-field as they take on the Liberty Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Oak Ridge didn't have too much trouble with Innovation on the road as they won 26-10.
Oak Ridge's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Taylor Crane, who threw for 186 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 passes, and Aiden Graham, who rushed for 125 yards and a touchdown. With that strong performance, Graham is now averaging an impressive 105 rushing yards per game. A healthy portion of that aerial production (86 yards to be exact) went to Ami Suffrant.
Meanwhile, Liberty had to endure a five-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They breezed by Ambassadors Christian Academy at home to the tune of 37-0 on Thursday.
The victory got Oak Ridge back to even at 1-1. As for Liberty, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.
