Football Game Preview: Homestead Broncos vs. American Patriots + Official Tickets

The Homestead Broncos will take on the American Patriots at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Homestead is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Homestead was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 34-28 to Booker T. Washington.

Despite the defeat, Homestead got top-tier performance from Jacob Villa, who threw for 341 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per attempt. Davarious Dean was another key player, picking up 95 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Meanwhile, American managed to keep up with Hialeah until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Patriots came up short against the Thoroughbreds, falling 35-12. The loss continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Thoroughbreds: they've now lost four in a row.

Homestead's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for American, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
