Soccer Recap: Overhills Comes Up Short

While losing is never fun, Overhills can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 457th, while Pinecrest are ranked 131st).

Overhills' defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Pinecrest, the victory got them back to even at 3-3-1.

Overhills didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-5 draw against Richmond Senior on the 1st. As for Pinecrest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Hoke County on the 1st.
