It's playoff time, and Greencastle-Antrim had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Archbishop Carroll Patriots on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Blue Devils are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 20 straight.

Greencastle-Antrim walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-18, 25-8, 25-17.

Greencastle-Antrim's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaitlyn Alvey, who had 21 assists and three aces. Alvey has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more assists the last 17 times she's played.

Alvey wasn't the only good servers: Greencastle-Antrim was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 20 consecutive matches.

Greencastle-Antrim's win bumped their record up to 25-1-3. As for Archbishop Carroll, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Greencastle-Antrim will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Patriots: the pair will be back at it again later today.
