After a string of six wins, Heritage Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They had to suffer through a 87-51 loss at the hands of the First Baptist Saints. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Saints from their previous meeting back in January.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead First Baptist to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dylan Jones, who went 9 for 20 on his way to 24 points. With that strong performance, Jones is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Tucker Brown, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards.
Heritage Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for First Baptist, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
