Volleyball Recap: Edgerton Bulldogs vs. Edon Bombers
After flying high against North Central on Thursday, Edgerton came back down to earth. The Bulldogs came up short against the Edon Bombers on Monday, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bombers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-23, 25-15.
Alivia Farnham paced Edgerton's offense, picking up 20 kills. Farnham got some help from Ava Swank and her 22 assists. Ava Giesige controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Edon's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Genna Ripke, who had 37 assists and nine digs. Avery Aldrich was another key player, getting 18 digs.
Having lost for the first time this season, Edgerton fell to 3-1. As for Edon, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3.
