Volleyball Game Preview: Calvary Christian Academy LIONS vs. Delaware Valley Classical Titans

The Calvary Christian Academy LIONS will square off against the Delaware Valley Classical Titans at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Calvary Christian Academy is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.

Calvary Christian Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Delaware's top teams: Greenwood Mennonite, who was ranked 22nd at the time (Calvary Christian Academy was ranked sixth). The LIONS walked away with a 3-1 win over the Flames on Thursday.

While Calvary Christian Academy might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Greenwood Mennonite scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 20-25, 25-19, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Delaware Valley Classical got the win against Concord Christian Academy on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

While Delaware Valley Classical won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19, 25-23.

Calvary Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Delaware Valley Classical, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
