Basketball Recap: East Forsyth Comes Up Short + How To Watch

East Forsyth was the 66-51 winner over Walkertown when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles took a 78-70 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolfpack on Wednesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (63), the Eagles still had to take the loss.

Walkertown's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaden McCandies, who went 7-for-12 on his way to 17 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Jordan Autry, who posted 15 points and five assists.

East Forsyth's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Walkertown, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Forsyth will head out to face off against Northern Guilford at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will be up against the Nighthawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 72 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Walkertown, they will head out on the road to challenge Bethany Community at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
