Volleyball Recap: Utica Extends Winning Streak to Three

Utica entered their tilt with Sandusky on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Wolves by a score of 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Utica was: they took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-10.

Chloe Johnson paced Utica's offense, picking up four kills. Johnson got some help from Rachel Rettell and her seven assists. Rettell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Utica's win bumped their record up to 15-20-1. As for Sandusky, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-20-3.

Coming up, Utica will challenge Sterling Heights Stevenson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Sandusky, they will venture away from home to take on Memphis at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
