The Grace Christian Academy Rams will venture away from home to challenge the King's Academy Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Grace Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.5 runs per game this season.

Grace Christian Academy is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Saint James just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans.

Hayden Hill was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Another player making a difference was Hannah Hodges, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, King's Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch two weeks ago as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 12-0 to Christian Academy of Knoxville.

Grace Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for King's Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Grace Christian Academy took their victory against King's Academy in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 12-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Grace Christian Academy since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
