Volleyball Recap: Mead Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory + How To Watch

Mead had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Fairview Knights with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Mavericks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Mead took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-12, 25-12.

Mead's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alana Costello, who had ten digs and one assist.

Mead was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 14 consecutive matchups.

Mead's record now sits at 11-5. As for Fairview, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.
