Springville is a perfect 7-0 against Timpview since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Springville Red Devils will look to defend their home field against the Timpview Thunderbirds at 3:30 p.m. Springville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12.5 runs per game this season.

Springville's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on Lone Peak with a sharp 6-0 victory. The Red Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by six runs or more this season.

The result came thanks to Allyx Haveron's shutout, as she gave up just four hits and racked up 11 Ks.

At the plate, Morgan Fairbourne was a standout: she scored two runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Brooklynn Richardson, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Timpview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Skyridge, falling 18-1. That's two games in a row now that the Thunderbirds have lost by exactly 17 runs.

Timpview saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elle Payne, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.

Timpview's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Springville, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Timpview's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Springville has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.8 hits per game. It's a different story for Timpview, though, as they've been averaging 13.3 hits. Given Springville's sizable advantage in that area, Timpview will need to find a way to close that gap.

Springville took their victory against Timpview when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 18-1. Will Springville repeat their success, or does Timpview have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
