Baseball Recap: Northwest Cabarrus Trojans vs. Robinson Bulldogs
Northwest Cabarrus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Robinson Bulldogs, falling 10-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 back in March.
Northwest Cabarrus saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Landers, who went 2-for-3 with one run.
Northwest Cabarrus' loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Robinson, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-12.
We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Northwest Cabarrus will challenge rival Concord at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Robinson is set to face off against their familiar foe Central Cabarrus at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
