Volleyball Recap: Fowler Triumphs

Fowler posted their closest win since August 26th on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Wonderful College Prep Academy Wolves 2-1.

Wonderful College Prep Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Daniela Macias, who had 12 kills and eight digs. She is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last 14 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Selena Rico, who had six kills and six digs.

Fowler's win bumped their record up to 13-7-1. As for Wonderful College Prep Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 14-7-2.

Fowler wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Tulare Western on the 20th. As for Wonderful College Prep Academy, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Avenal on the 20th.
