Basketball Recap: Holy Trinity Victorious

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Holy Trinity ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They managed a 65-60 win over the Ellison Lions. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 54-48 victory the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Holy Trinity's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Ellison, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holy Trinity will head out to face off against Uplift at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Uplift's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Ellison, they are taking a road trip to take on Hancock at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
