Soccer Game Preview: Winter Park vs. Lake Buena Vista

Winter Park's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by an 8-0 margin over Dr. Phillips. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by four goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Lake Buena Vista's offense. They came up short against Freedom on Thursday, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, the Vipers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 449th, while the Patriots are ranked 176th).

Winter Park is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those six matches. As for Lake Buena Vista, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-11-1.
