Volleyball Recap: Benjamin Franklin Takes a Loss

Benjamin Franklin lost against Snowflake back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Chargers came up short against the Lobos, falling 3-0. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Benjamin Franklin was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-22, 25-20.

Snowflake's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hailey Jones, who had 23 assists and six digs. Jones is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 16 or more in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucy Lyman, who had six digs and three assists.

Benjamin Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Snowflake, they pushed their record up to 29-8-4 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Benjamin Franklin will host ALA - Ironwood at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Snowflake, they will welcome Winslow at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
