Baseball Recap: Wynnewood Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Wynnewood came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Comanche Indians by a score of 5-2. While the Savages didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Wynnewood's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Comanche, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7-1.

Coming up, Wynnewood will face off against Wayne at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed nine runs per game on average), something the Savages will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Comanche, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, an 11-6 victory against Elmore City-Pernell on the 28th.
