Volleyball Recap: Lander Valley Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Bear Lake

Lander Valley is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Bear Lake. The Tigers fell 2-0 to the Bears. The loss put an end to the Tigers' undefeated start to the season.

Bear Lake found their leader in sophomore Paisley Lloyd, who had five digs and four aces. Those four aces set a new season-high mark for Lloyd.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lander Valley fell to 4-1. As for Bear Lake, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.

Lander Valley has already played their next matchup (against Star Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Bear Lake, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Kelly Walsh on the 5th.
