Baseball Recap: Metairie Park Country Day Takes a Loss

Metairie Park Country Day was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-1 last Wednesday.

Metairie Park Country Day's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, their victory bumped their record up to 8-11.

Looking ahead, Metairie Park Country Day will look to defend their home field on Monday against South Plaquemines at 4:30 p.m. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, they will head out on the road to face off against Loranger at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
