Softball Recap: Seaford Takes a Loss

If Seaford was riding high fresh off their 13-1 takedown of ASPIRA Charter last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Seaford lost 10-0 to the Sussex Academy Seahawks on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Bluejays in their meetings with the Seahawks: they've now lost three in a row.

Seaford saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cyonna Knowles, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Seaford now has a losing record of 1-2. Sussex Academy has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Sussex Academy beat Seaford by a score of 10-0 on Friday.
