It's playoff time, and Whiteville had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 70-61 victory over the J.F. Webb Warriors on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Wolfpack as they're now sitting on seven straight.

When it comes to explaining why J.F. Webb lost, don't look at Joshua Barnette. Despite the final result, he posted 24 points. Barnette's big performance that evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaydan Hester, who scored 12 points.

Whiteville's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points over those games. As for J.F. Webb, their loss dropped their record down to 17-10.

Whiteville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 58-47 defeat against Martin County on the 28th. J.F. Webb does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
