Basketball Recap: Norwood Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Norwood has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 50-46 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bridgewater-Raynham Trojans. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Mustangs came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked sixth, while the Trojans are ranked 86th).

Norwood's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-3. As for Bridgewater-Raynham, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 6-7 record.

Norwood won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Millis at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bridgewater-Raynham, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Westwood at 6:30 p.m.
