Football Recap: Rampart Comes Up Short at Home Against Falcon

Rampart unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They and the Falcon Falcons were almost perfectly matched up on Thursday, but the Rams suffered a 7-6 defeat. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Demarion Simpson threw for 27 yards on six of 15 attempts. On the ground, Khalid Elwazier rushed for 62 yards.

Rampart didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 30-0 defeat against Lewis-Palmer on the 28th. As for Falcon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 30-19 victory against George Washington on the 29th.
