Volleyball Game Preview: Magnolia Sentinels vs. Katella Knights

Magnolia hasn't had much luck against Katella recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Sentinels will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Knights at 3:30 p.m.

Magnolia is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They came up short against Godinez Fundamental on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-11, 25-18.

Katella not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 3, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Savanna with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Rebels recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Katella never let Savanna on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-10, 25-12.
