Basketball Game Preview: Royse City Bulldogs vs. Longview Lobos

The Royse City Bulldogs are taking a road trip to challenge the Longview Lobos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, Royse City was able to grind out a solid victory over North Forney, taking the game 70-59. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Longview got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They came out on top against North Forney by a score of 52-44 on Tuesday.

Royse City has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.4 points per game. As for Longview, their win bumped their record up to 13-8.

Royse City took their victory against Longview in their previous matchup back in November of 2021 by a conclusive 76-54. The rematch might be a little tougher for Royse City since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
