Volleyball Game Preview: R.J. Reynolds Demons vs. Winston Salem Christian Lions

R.J. Reynolds is on a five-game streak of home losses, and Winston Salem Christian a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The R.J. Reynolds Demons will welcome the Winston Salem Christian Lions at 6:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, R.J. Reynolds didn't have quite enough to beat Southwest Guilford and fell 3-2.

R.J. Reynolds took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-15, 19-25, 25-23, 15-11.

Meanwhile, Winston Salem Christian earned a 3-1 win over Phoenix Academy on Tuesday.

Winston Salem Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-19, 25-21, 25-22.

Winston Salem Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season. As for R.J. Reynolds, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.
