Basketball Game Preview: Ellensburg Bulldogs vs. Lynden Lions

Ellensburg is 0-3 against Lynden since March of 2016 but things could change on Saturday. Having just played yesterday, the Ellensburg Bulldogs will jump right back in to play the Lynden Lions at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are still undefeated (Ellensburg has 27 wins , while Lynden has 47 dating back to last season).

Ellensburg is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against Deer Park by a score of 58-50.

Meanwhile, Lynden faced Prosser in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Lynden took down Prosser 62-44.

Ellensburg's win bumped their record up to 27-0. As for Lynden, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 27-0.

Ellensburg couldn't quite finish off Lynden in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 and fell 43-40. Can Ellensburg avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
