The Aurora Greenmen are taking a road trip to face off against the Solon Comets at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Aurora is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season.

Aurora is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Roosevelt just ended the team's six-match winning streak on Wednesday. Neither they nor the Rough Riders could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result kept Aurora happy, as they haven't lost a game since September 3rd.

Their goal came courtesy of Abby Dalessandro, who's now up to ten this season.

Meanwhile, Solon kept a clean sheet against Mentor on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Cardinals. The win continues a trend for Solon in their matchups with Mentor: they've now won three in a row.

Solon's victory bumped their record up to 8-5-1. With that draw, Aurora's record moves to 9-4-2.

Aurora couldn't quite get it done against Solon in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Greenmen avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
