Brookville hadn't done well against Rustburg recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Bees came out on top in a nail-biter against the Red Devils, sneaking past 3-1. The game was the first time the Bees have beaten the Red Devils on their field since May 30, 2022.

Brookville's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Rustburg, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Brookville is set to challenge their familiar foe Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
