Baseball Recap: South Park Victorious

South Park hadn't done well against Center recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Burros won by a run and slipped past the Vikings 15-14. For the Burros, this counts as revenge for the 17-0 win the Vikings walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Aiden Wilson was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double. He has become a key player for South Park: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 0-8 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Walker, who went 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: South Park kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.

South Park's record is now 3-9. As for Center, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-17.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Vikings beat South Park by a score of 16-0 later that day.
