Softball Recap: Capital Cougars vs. South Charleston Black Eagles
Capital had lost 11 straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 3-20 to make it 12. They lost 10-2 to the South Charleston Black Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Black Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-5 on Saturday.
Jadan Bishop was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple, one stolen base, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Kathryn Crowder, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
