Lincoln hadn't done well against McDaniel recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Cardinals put the hurt on the Mountain Lions with a sharp 16-1 victory. The Cardinals not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 20th (when they won 22-4).

Lincoln's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-10. As for McDaniel, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lincoln will face off against rival Franklin at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, McDaniel is set to square off against their familiar foe Ida B. Wells at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
