Garey was not the first on the board on Tuesday, but they got there more often. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Nogales Nobles, sneaking past 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Vikings: when they faced off against the Nobles last Monday, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

Garey saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaac Gil, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That double marked the first that Gil hit this season.

Garey hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Nogales struck out ten times.

Garey's record is now 4-8. As for Nogales, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Garey will have a chance to go back-to-back against Nogales: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
