Softball Recap: Timpson's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

Timpson and Douglass squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Timpson had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Indians by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bears have suffered against the Indians since March 21, 2016.

Timpson moved to 20-6 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Douglass, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season.
