On Saturday Pittsburg's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the James Logan Colts. This was payback for the Pirates, who suffered a 5-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Ty Thompson was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaron Del Real, who went 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Pittsburg's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-0. As for James Logan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

Coming up, Pittsburg will head out to face off against Campolindo at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for James Logan, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Kennedy at 4:00 p.m. James Logan's pitchers better be ready for this one: Kennedy has averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season.
