Basketball Recap: Bohemia Manor Takes a Loss

Bohemia Manor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a hard 51-35 fall against the Elkton Golden Elks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Elks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-26 back in January.

Elkton's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Syanni Benson, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Paige Beougher, who earned ten points.

Bohemia Manor's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Elkton, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-13 record.

Bohemia Manor wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 59-22 loss against Patterson Mill on the 20th. As for Elkton, they have also already played their next contest, a 63-36 defeat against Aberdeen on the 20th.
