If St. Paul was feeling good fresh off their 18-1 takedown of St. Anthony last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Swordsmen fell 12-8 to the Huntington Beach Oilers on Monday. The Swordsmen's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Daina Munoz led a balanced group of hitters, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. Aleena Gutierrez was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

St. Paul's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Huntington Beach, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.
