Basketball Game Preview: Dooly County Bobcats vs. Webster County Bobcats

After both having extra time off, Dooly County and Webster County will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Dooly County can't be too happy about their upcoming road game considering what happened when they opened their season away from home two weeks ago. They had to suffer through a 70-39 loss at the hands of Macon County. The defeat continues a trend for the Bobcats in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost six in a row.

Despite the loss, Dooly County had strong showings from Jazlyn Hall, who shot 44% from the field to rack up 19 points and eight boards, and Ja'Kayla Hooks, who went 5-for-11 en route to 14 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Hooks has been hot, having posted eight or more rebounds the last six times she's played.

Meanwhile, Webster County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 45-25 to Southwest Georgia STEM Charter two weeks ago.
