Preview: Greendale Panthers vs. New Berlin Eisenhower Lions
Greendale has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the New Berlin Eisenhower Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Thursday, Greendale was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 86-81 to Milwaukee Lutheran.
Meanwhile, New Berlin Eisenhower's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 78-71 to Kettle Moraine Lutheran, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.
Greendale has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season. As for New Berlin Eisenhower, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.
Greendale came up short against New Berlin Eisenhower in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 71-60. Can Greendale avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
