Softball Recap: Palm Desert Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Shadow Hills, Palm Desert was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Palm Springs Indians by a score of 11-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The Aztecs haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Camila Ramirez, who scored three runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. What's more, she posted three RBI, the most she's had since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Gwyneth Kitagawa, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Palm Desert's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Palm Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.

Palm Desert didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-10 victory against San Jacinto on the 26th. As for Palm Springs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 31-0 loss against Scappoose on the 26th.
