Volleyball Recap: Arcadia Takes a Loss

If Arcadia was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Muir on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Apaches fell just short of the Alta Loma Braves by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The Apaches were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Braves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Malia Takeoka paced Arcadia's offense, picking up eight kills. Takeoka got some help from Allison Chen and her 17 assists.

Arcadia's record now sits at 4-3. As for Alta Loma, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Arcadia has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Oak Hills on the 5th. As for Alta Loma, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Don Lugo on the 5th.
