Basketball Recap: Concord's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Concord lost against Hodgson Vo-Tech back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The match between the Concord Raiders and the Hodgson Vo-Tech Eagles didn't end well, with the Concord Raiders falling 52-37. The Raiders were down 44-24 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Hodgson Vo-Tech got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Marissa Isbell out in front who posted 15 points. The dominant performance also gave Isbell a new career-high in assists (four). Another player making a difference was Hope Smith, who earned 12 points in addition to seven boards and five steals.

Concord's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-6. As for Hodgson Vo-Tech, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.

Concord will take on Delaware School for the Deaf at 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday. As for Hodgson Vo-Tech, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tower Hill at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
