Baseball Recap: Richlands Wildcats vs. Pamlico County Hurricanes

Richlands was the 4-3 winner over Pamlico County when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Richlands Wildcats fell just short of the Pamlico County Hurricanes by a score of 9-7 on Wednesday.

Hayden Turner put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Turner was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. That stolen base was his first of the season.
