Softball Recap: Crawford Comes Up Short

Crawford fell victim to Mission Bay and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Buccaneers, falling 16-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Colts in their meetings with the Buccaneers: they've now lost four in a row.

Crawford's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Mission Bay, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Crawford will take on Coronado at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mission Bay, they will head out on the road to take on San Diego at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
